Meet the Executives:
MEdUSA 2018-2019 Council
President - Trevor Tsui
Trevor is entering his final year of the Concurrent Music Education program with a concentration in classical trombone, and his fourth year on MEdUSA. As President, Trevor represents McGill's Music Education student body to the Schulich School of Music, the Faculty of Education and other organizations. He is here to make your concerns heard, so feel free to flag him down if you see him around campus or by emailing him at firstname.lastname@example.org!
VP Communications - Nicole Furrier
Nicole is entering her fourth year of the concurrent Music Education program and her third year on MEdUSA Council! Her first time pulling into the VP Communications station, she is looking forward to sending our monthly E-News and keeping tabs on our email, Facebook group, and this very website! Nicole is the only American on council this year and enjoys telling everyone she meets here that she is a foreigner. She spends her free time selling samosas for Soulstice A Cappella and showing people pictures of her dogs (particularly Emma, the cuter one). Nicole is here for you for all communications concerns and is always happy to chat so feel free to flag her down in the hallways to say hi!
VP Professional Development - Nicole Pagaling
Nicole is in her third year of the Concurrent Music Education program with a minor in Philosophy. In her spare time (lol what is spare time when you’re a music ed student) she enjoys looking at photos of corgis, reading books at the park, and jamming to angsty string quartets. Nicole is looking forward to serving her first year on MEdUSA as VP Professional Development!
Co-VP Social - Min Kim
Min is a fourth year student at McGill in the Concurrent Music Education program and is she ever looking forward to making magic happen on her first year as Co-VP Social! You may not see her often in the building as she is in stage this year but Min loves to MINgle so feel free to shoot her a message whenever with whatever!
First Year Representative - Beatrice Davis
Beatrice is in her first year at McGill, majoring in Music Education with her primary instrument being the French Horn. She is ready to be a part of an actually serious council and hope that it will allow her to become more involved as well as informed in regards to the sort of confusing program! She sometimes has a hard time answering the question where she is from as she was born in Mississauga but grew up in South Africa, Switzerland, and New Jersey. She often is very intimated but never intimidating so please approach her with questions, concerns or even a simple hello.
VP Academic - Alice Neron
Alice is in her third year of the Concurrent Music Education program with a concentration in violin. She is so excited to join this year MEdUSA council! As VP Academic, she is looking forward to answer any questions regarding courses, stages, or really anything!! When she's not out trying cute coffee shops, you can always find her at the music library or in the practice rooms! Feel free to say hi whenever you see her!
VP Finance - Danielle Findlay
Danielle is in her third year of the concurrent double-major Music Education program with a concentration in bassoon. She can’t wait to organize lunch-time grilled cheese sales and roll coins in her first year on student council as Vice-President of Finance. When she isn’t spending her time living in the tranquility of the music library, she enjoys tossing a frisbee, attending concerts, sewing up a storm or freelancing around Montreal. Danielle loves to help, listen, and make other people’s lives easier when she can, so don’t hesitate to say ‘allô’.
