It’s Heather’s birthday tomorrow!

Agenda & Proceedings:
Academic
- McGill/QBA Meeting: It was yesterday. Becky is going to post the notes on Google Docs. See that for what was discussed.
- BEd Subcommittee: Nancy has found someone else on MUSA willing to be on the subcommittee. Becky will find a BEd person before reading week and meetings will start after.
- Meeting with Lisa: Becky emailed Lisa and invited her to one of our meetings. Lisa doesn’t think it’s necessary because we are already in such close contact with her.
- Meeting with Dean: He is coming next week at 18:00. We will think about if there is anything we want to bring up while he is here.
Social
- Young Alumni Panel: There is another person: Evan Crandell. Vanessa may or may not be late as she is coming back from a school trip. There will be five alumni there for sure. The panel is going to be in A410. Chris will make a reservation at Old Dub so we can go out after.
- Music Ed Goes: We’re going to see the Lego Movie on Sunday. Chris will find what time to go and post it on Facebook.
General
- Viva Sistema Fundraiser: QMEA is busy getting charitable status so this is not their priority right now. We have sold a few necklaces. Next steps: Naomi will make a poster to put up around the school. Naomi is also still waiting for a letter from QMEA so she can ask to have the necklaces sold in different shops. She will email them about this.
- Jin-Hee: Jin Hee was talking to Becky about the lunchtime groups that happen at St Lambert. Jin Hee thinks it would be nice to get MEdUSA involved somehow. They are interested in collaborating with us. Becky is going to talk to Jin Hee about exactly what that would entail.
- Stamping Posters: Becky emailed Nancy about our awkward position when people come in to the office to get posters stamped. Nancy said we can use the MUSA stamp when this happens. Becky will send Nancy’s instructions to us so we know what the rules are.
- Twigg Wine and Cheese: The date has been changed to Tuesday April 15.
- Elections: We need to make sure to get most of the education classes covered. Chris will make enough ballots for everyone and Becky will send who is covering what class.
- Next Meeting: Normal time, normal place, except with the Dean.
