Social
- YAP: There were five non-MEdUSA people in attendance. The information was great and super helpful. We started a little late because there was too much to do in too short a time with too few people. Part of the issue with the numbers is that Lisa’s class is not being offered this year.
- BBQ: There is a form we have to fill out for outdoor events. The rental fee for a barbeque is $200. Lisa applied for some money from the Education Department but did not hear back. It is too late to use the money for what she originally planned so she offered to use some of it to pay for the BBQ if she gets it. She also said that we should spend the leftover money from her budget somehow so we will use it for this. Eve-Marie will email Lisa to find out about the money and if we have to fill out the form or if she does.
Finance
- Swag: We will put five items on sale. We will poll the MEdUSA members so Pei can get numbers to give to the company to find out what the exact discount will be.
Professional Development
- Repair Workshop: Seven people attended. It was a great workshop as per usual. We should continue to do repair workshops at least once a year. If we ever want to have a repair section of the technique classes, Steve Dubinsky would be willing to set this up for us.
- EdUS: Nothing to report.
General
- McGill24: We raised $10,000 which is matched by a donor so we have $20,000. Lisa is going to sit down with the technique teachers to allocate the money. Elin is sending out a thank you email to the donors.
