- Festivus: The room is booked on December 7 until 19:00 so Eve-Marie will book it then and email the person who has it booked to see if they are using it for the whole time. The alcohol we will order is Baileys and rum.
Reports
- EdUS: see report
Finance
- Budget: Tabled. MUSA says the numbers should be in today and the cheques should be in the office soon.
- Swag: Raumina was not at EdUS so Heather couldn’t ask her. Gill has messaged Brennan.
Professional Development
- Workshops: The first workshop was on Monday. There was a good attendance of non-council members. There were approximately 15 people in attendance. For future workshops with McGill professors, MEdUSA should specify more specific topics than just a title. The next workshop is November 2 on Running a Musical.
General
- Drum Circle: If we want to use the Madeleine Parent room we have to do it on a different day. We would do it on December 11. Mitchel will email MUSA to book the room. Pei will facilitate one circle and other people from World Drumming will do the others.
- Volunteer Fair: School of Music Montreal got five new volunteers and one new teacher. They are interested in coming back but would like us to advertise it more. Teresa said that they did not get anyone new but she didn’t mind being there as they always appreciate exposure. MNHB recruited some new people but we don’t have an exact number yet.
