Agenda & Proceedings:
Communications
- ENEWS: Will go out Saturday.
Professional Development
- Semester Proposal: Proposal approved by Heather and seconded by Naomi
Finance
- Grilled Cheese Sale: Thursday, February 26th. 10am-2pm. Gill will set up a doodle to sign up for times and see if we need any volunteers.
- Sweaters: They arrived! Council members are responsible for handing out sweaters. Double check the order form pdf online on the drive before handing out a sweater.
Reports
- EdUS: Nothing to report.
Social
- YAP: Everything is booked. Lisa put in the alcohol order this week and we got the alcohol permit. We have 5 confirmed panelists. We are just waiting on Alexandra Bourque. Facebook event is good to go. Promote, promote, promote!
- Semester Proposal: Approved by Heather, seconded by Doug.
- Drum Circle: Shawn booked C-309 for Wednesday, March 11 from 6-8pm. Next step is advertising to all undergrads. Heather tried to set up a meeting with the dean and the secretary has not responded. She will email again to meet with the dean.
Academic
- Special Project: The idea is that there would be a special project promoting a one-credit, performance “course”, to help fill out the lab band in the case where there are not enough music ed players. Lisa is working towards that for next year. This year, New Horizons is going to fill the gaps.
Next Meeting: February 16, 7pm.
Adjournment: Heather motions to close the meeting at 20:20, Naomi seconds.
