- MEdUSA Workshop: It’s on Thursday! Announcements will be made in classes M-R this week. With Tim Brady in A-512, starting at 5:30. Guitar amp arriving at 5pm in room, Kathleen will meet Evan MacDonald in the room to get the amp. He will return at 7pm to get the amp. Bring your instruments!
- Mentor Workshop: Ginette Purdy, November 26th, in E-109, no time settled yet, but it looks like it’s going to be no earlier than 5:30. Will be regarding the music department within the school community, how to create your own job, how to get admin on your side, why it’s important to get involved in bands and stuff. Sure to be a great workshop.
- QBA Report: Conference was mentioned. Registration forms in ASAP. Lots of things happening that weekend. Promote it! Talk about it in your classes! Bring pamphlets in the office and hand them out to students who are interested. Lots of students going.
Finance
- Budget: Tabled.
- Sweaters/Teeshirts: Lots of interest by the students. Gill’s contacts have not gotten back to her yet. We are able to order tee shirts through EdUS, but they’re dealing with a new company and figuring things out. Gill has to wait for EdUS confirmation, but will push for sweater info.
Social
- Semester Proposal: Tabled until next meeting
General
- Whiteboard/Music Ed Board: Someone needs to put up the whiteboard in the office and hung in the window. Kathleen will do it. Chris will do the Music Ed Board. Deadline: Halloween.
- Meeting Time: New doodle will be made for the weekend, as there are currently no days during the week where we’re all available. New doodle for weekends will be set up.
Next Meeting: Decided by the doodle.
Adjournment: Heather motions to close the meeting at 17:07, Becky seconds.
