- Semester Proposals: Social: Naomi motions to approve, Gill seconds. PD: Naomi motions to approve, Kyle seconds
- Extra Project Reports: If you haven’t done one, do it ASAP!
- QBA: QYWE is happening! Retreat is happening! If anyone is having money problems, they will accept post-dated cheques until the end of 2015. Pass this on to anyone who is thinking of going!
Finance
- Budget: MUSA has not responded. Tabled.
- Swag: Gill is waiting to hear from EdUS.
Social
- Welcome Back Cocktail: 38 people attended. We ran out of alcohol so we’ll be sure to get more for next time. A bunch of first years showed up, as well as Jacqueline Leclair.
Professional Development
- Workshops: First one is October 19 with Stefano about Teaching the Young Voice.
Communications
- ENEWS: Send blurbs to Heather by Saturday night! It will go out Sunday.
Academic
- Footbook update: Colin is meeting with Lisa to figure out what the jazz music ed requirements are so we can update our Footbook.
General
- Volunteer Fair: It was quiet during ensemble rehearsal time but it got relatively busy after orchestra got out. Pei will email the representatives to ask them what they thought. Perhaps next year aim for a 13:00 start so we avoid the awkward orchestra time.
- Drum Circle: Shawn’s percussion exam is on December 9 but that shouldn’t be a problem with the instruments we use. He will reach out to his class to find facilitators. He suggested that we have four facilitators, two per hour, to make it easier for them.
- Advanced Placement Rep: Toby Moisey emailed us an application. Naomi will email him back accepting him as our rep!
