Meeting was called to order at 16:32 by Eve-Marie, seconded by Mitchel
APPROVAL OF MINUTES

ANNOUNCEMENTS
Is you okay? Good cuz I wanted to to know! How's everyone making through the first month? We’re all surviving!
SOCIAL
Welcome Back Cocktail: The room is booked. Heather has sent Lisa the information for the alcohol. We will send the alcohol order after the meeting.
Justin Purcell from MUSA has offered to do a joint beer order with us. We should start receiving RSVPs soon. Heather has made a poster and they will go up this weekend. Heather will also make a FB event.
We will discuss food next week.
FINANCE
VP-Finance was absent from the meeting - items tabled until next meeting.
PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT
Contacted Irene Feher regarding vocal improvisation workshop (w/ Mary Knysh of Music for People) on November 14/15 (Monday/ Tuesday)
Contacted Bryce Lansdell regarding a possible drum circle as an exam season de-stressor
Check with Shawn and Lisa; Madeleine Parent room, book through MUSA; Drums to use? Escalate to Lisa?
Contacted Louise Campbell requesting more detailed notes on her workshop proposals:
Creativity in the Classroom (improvisation and composition)
Funding Programs that facilitate bringing artists into schools
Do we have a list of recent graduates we can send to Louise to contact for her funded programs?

GENERAL
QMEA Rep: Nicole Furrier will be the rep!
Semester Proposals: Due next Friday.
Extra Projects: Projects will be more integrated into the jobs.
Mitchel will be photography, Eve-Marie is New Horizons, Trevor is QBA, Nicole F is QMEA/EdUS, Nicole T & Heather are advertising, Pei is TBD
New Horizons: They are looking for volunteers again. Rehearsals this year will be at McGill. There will be posters and we will put it in the next e-news. Eve-Marie will also post in the FB group.
Meeting with the Dean: Nicole F and Eve-Marie will figure out what times work for them.
