Announcements: Ukulele workshop tonight! Elections will end today! Grilled cheese sale was yesterday!

Approval of Minutes: Pei motions to approve, Eve-Marie seconds.

    Embroidery design is approved. Our website is up and running!
  • Grilled Cheese Sale: We made a revenue of approximately $225. The exact figure will be available next week. This year, the sale continued to 16:00 instead of the regular 14:00. Having the extra time really helped the revenue. We recommend next year that if there are supplies to continue, the council continues for the extra 2 hours. The porter came to see MEdUSA at the grilled cheese sale because he was leaving at 14:30 and wanted the extension cord back. MUSA was present and offered to return it later. It is recommended that MEdUSA invest in its own extension cord for this event next year. Danuta offered to send an email to every music student about the sale so we should also do that next year.

Social
  • YAP: Eve has emailed the 3 graduate student alumni but has not received responses. Peter Wightman has also not responded to emails about the $150 cleaning fee. Eve-Marie has been corresponding with Lisa about the alcohol permit and order. We are aiming for 8-10 bottles of wine depending on budget (5 left over from before). She will also buy pop and perhaps beer if there is leftover money.

General
  • McGill24: See report.
  • Meeting with the Dean: See report. RE: MUSA giving us the student list late - next year, CC the Associate Dean of Student Affairs (Jacqueline Leclair) on every email you send asking for the list. Hopefully you will received the list sooner than February.
  • Payment: Jonathan gave Douglas his hourly rate at the QBA Honour Band weekend. Douglas will pay him for the masterclass and 2 lessons that he has given to date. Douglas will ask Alain if he is willing to give the remaining 4 students their lessons. If Alain agrees, Douglas will ask the students if they are willing to have their lessons with Alain, and if they agree, that will be the arrangement. Doug must email Lisa again about paying Kristen Malbranck.
  • Semester Proposals: Professional development tabled.
  • Elections: We have people running for every position! We have over 50% voter turnout. Elected members will be announced tomorrow.

Next Meeting: Same time next week, location TBA.
