- Advanced Winds/String Tech: Lisa’s working on it.
Finance
- Sweaters: He hasn’t gotten back to Gill yet. Communication is the most challenging aspect right now. Gill is working on it.
Social
- Festivus: Room booking has been changed to the Thursday. Naomi will contact Lisa in the next two weeks or so for the liquor license.
- Semester Proposal: Approved by Heather, seconded by Chris.
Professional Development
- QBA Mentor Workshop: Workshop on Nov 26th is not happening. 6th of November has been booked with Gabby Smith about Band formation and participation in inner city schools in A-410. Just settling time for the workshop.
- Tim Brady Wrap Up: ‘Twas fun. 15 people showed up! Great turn up! Payment is being handled through McGill and Becky will confirm with Lisa that it’s happening.
- Conducting Symposium: Audrey (McGill liaison), met with McGill and they’re super interested. May be giving financial support towards the symposium. Symposium will be held 25th - 28th of June 2015. The Saturday evening of the workshop would be a wine and cheese event. Next meeting is Halloween.
